Privacy Policy

OLSOL Pro ("we", "our", "us", or "the App") is a personal finance and expense tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use OLSOL Pro.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

### Information You Enter in the App

OLSOL Pro allows you to record personal finance information such as transaction amounts, categories, dates, notes, budgets, and related ledger details. This information is used to provide in-app features such as bills, statistics, budget views, records, and data export.

The App does not require account registration and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, SMS, call logs, microphone recordings, or payment card credentials.

### Device and Technical Information

When the App starts, it may request a remote configuration from our server to determine whether to display the local App experience or an online page inside an in-app WebView. For this purpose, the App may process and transmit limited device and technical information, including:

  • Android ID or similar device identifier
  • App package name
  • CPU architecture
  • Hardware, manufacturer, model, brand, device, Android version, and SDK version
  • Sensor count and approximate RAM information
  • Emulator or development-environment indicators
  • ADB/developer-options status
  • Network type
  • Basic app launch and interaction timing signals

This information is used for app configuration, compatibility, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service operation. The request is transmitted over HTTPS and uses encryption for the configuration payload.

### Files and Images Selected by You

If an online page displayed inside the App requests file upload, the App may open the Android system file picker or camera interface. Files, images, or camera captures are accessed only after you choose them through the system interface. The selected file URI may be provided to the online page that requested the upload.

The App does not access your photos, files, or camera in the background.

### Clipboard and Exported Data

If you use an export or copy feature, selected transaction data may be copied to your device clipboard or made available for sharing. You control where that exported information is pasted, saved, or sent.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide personal finance tracking features
  • To display transaction records, budgets, bills, statistics, and account views
  • To operate the App and determine whether to show local content or online content
  • To maintain app security, compatibility, and abuse prevention
  • To support file upload flows when you choose files or images
  • To respond to user requests, support inquiries, or legal obligations
  • To improve reliability and user experience

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Local Data Handling

Finance records that you enter into the local App experience are intended to remain on your device. OLSOL Pro does not require a user account and does not upload your locally entered finance records to our server as part of the local ledger features.

If you delete app data through your device settings or uninstall the App, locally stored app data may be removed from your device, subject to your operating system behavior.

4. Online Content and WebView

The App may display online content inside a WebView if the remote configuration returns a valid web address. Online content may be operated by us or by service providers. When you interact with online content, additional information may be collected by that online service according to its own notices and privacy practices.

Non-web links, such as messaging, market, social media, or intent links, may open external apps or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external apps, websites, or services that you choose to open.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information only in the following limited situations:

  • With service providers that help operate app configuration, hosting, security, or online content
  • With online services or pages that you choose to interact with inside the WebView
  • With external apps or websites when you choose to open external links
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
  • To protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of users, the App, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of assets, where permitted by law

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

6. Permissions

The App may use the following Android capabilities:

  • Internet access: used for remote configuration and online content.
  • File provider and file picker flows: used only when you choose files or images for upload.
  • Camera intent: used only when you choose to capture an image during a file upload flow.

The App does not request precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, or background camera access.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the App. Remote configuration requests are sent over HTTPS and protected with encryption for the configuration payload.

However, no method of transmission, storage, app environment, or device environment is completely secure. You should protect your device with a passcode, biometric lock, updated operating system, and other security measures.

8. Data Retention

Local finance records remain on your device unless you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App.

Device and technical information processed for remote configuration, security, or service operation is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Information handled by online content displayed in the WebView may be retained according to the privacy practices of the relevant online service.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You may:

  • Delete local records in the App where supported
  • Clear App data through Android system settings
  • Uninstall the App to remove local App data from your device
  • Choose not to select files or images for upload
  • Choose not to open external links
  • Contact us with privacy-related requests

10. Children's Privacy

OLSOL Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. International Data Transfers

Information processed through remote configuration, service providers, online content, or support requests may be transferred to and processed in countries or regions other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes available means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
